TAXES
The Government charges a 17% Value Added Tax (VAT) on the Total rental charges. The Environmental Levy is $1.50 each day of rental.
INSURANCE
It is important to note that Insurance is optional and that some credit card compaines cover Collision Damage Wavier (CDW). When insurance is declined and an accident occurs, the renters credit card will be charged for all repairs and loss of use of the vehicle.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER
Renter pays a daily rate of US$10.00 for CDW. This carries a maximum deductible of US$500.00 on Economy cars; US$800.00 on Midsize cars; US$1000.00 on Family Size vehicles; US$1,200.00 on Premium and Sport vehicles.
LIABILITY DAMAGE WAVIER
The renter pays a daily charge of $5.00 USD for 3rd Party Liability Coverage. The coverage carries a Maximum Deductible of US$550.00
DEPOSIT
When the CDW insurance is declined; the Credit Card used to pay for the rental will be charged US$1,000.00 immediately. This amount will be immediately refunded when the vehicle is returned in the condition it was rented. Further charges will apply if the vehicle is damaged in any way on return.
AGE REQUIREMENT
All drivers MUST be at least 25 years old or have had a valid drivers license for a minimum of 5 years accident free.
LOCAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
The Government requires that all drivers MUST have a valid St.Kitts drivers license or purchase a temporary one before renting. These are available on site at Bullseye.
ACCIDENTS
All accidents must be reported to the police immediately.
